Meeting with the European Commission's DG Trade

The President of the CCI France Armenia Tigran Arakelian, accompanied by the CEO of Amundi-ACBA Hovik Mazedjian and the CEO of BIVAC (Bureau Veritas Armenia) Hasmik Kirakosyan, attended the meeting organised at the EU delegation in the presence of the European Commission's Directorate-General for Trade (DG Trade).

Various subjects concerning economic exchanges and the CEPA were discussed, and the President of the CCI asked DG Trade, within the framework of the CEPA, to invite the Armenian authorities to put in place more effective tools to combat the marketing of counterfeit products in Armenia, mainly from European brands.

Bringing the Armenian economy up to international standards is an important step in gaining the confidence of foreign investors.
